About CENTSS
The Minnesota State Colleges and Universities and Seward Incorporated worked with the WICHE Cooperative for Educational Technologies (WCET, formerly the Western Cooperative for Educational Telecommunications) to develop the Center for Transforming Student Services in 2005. The site, selected by StudentAffairs.com as their December "Web Site of the Month", is a virtual resource for higher education institutions interested in assessing the quality of their student services offered via the web.
CENTSS offers
- Models of innovation online student services
- Workshops and webinars
- The CENTSS Online Student Services Audit
The CENTSS Audit serves as a strategic planning tool for institutions to help them fully understand how they are providing student services online so they can develop a strategy of improvement. Since 2005, 200 institutions of higher education have used the CENTSS audit to assess their student services. In addition to the CENTSS Audit, CENTSS offers opportunities for learning and collaboration through its workshops, webcasts, and recognition of innovations in student services online.
